I have had the opportunity to watch this couple start dating, grow together as a couple, get engaged, get married, have their first baby and now they are getting ready to welcome their second child into the world this fall!
For the past 2 years I have been slowly making my around Huron and Perth Counties photographing beef farming families on their home farms. It has been such a pleasure getting to know all of these farmers and their stories.
“Hey! So, my siblings and I want to buy a family session gift certificate for our parents. We want to do an extended family session in downtown London, Ontario. Also there are 10 adults and 8 kids ranging from 2 months to teenagers.”
One of the most common questions I get when people book their newborn session is “Do I have to bring anything?” And my answer is always NO!
No matter where your special location is, if it is not a regularly used venue, then the chances are you will need a great deal of *stuff* brought over in order to host the wedding of your dreams.
So you have booked your wedding photographer, and they send you that email. Congrats, its time to book your engagement session… And the dread starts to sink in. Maybe you’ve never had professional photos taken together. Maybe you have and it included your parents and siblings and none of it was fun! Whatever it is, I promise I can make your engagement session less awkward for you!
Most of these are activities or habits I include in my life daily or weekly that are outside of the scope of my work, while some are boundaries I put on my work. For me personally, burnout occurs when I spend too much time in my work.
