Regardless of the season that you're in, and whether your babies are big, small or furry, you deserve to have photographs of the ones you love on your walls, and NOT feel like you almost pulled your hair out or murdered your partner in the process.
Sometimes that looks like getting the perfect romantic shot of couple, but sometimes that looks like letting the kids play and interacting with them and getting a playful shot of someone spinning and someone laughing and no one looking at the camera. Both those shots are incredible and beautiful in their own way.

Questions
No one wants to look like a wet dog in their photos so if it looks like it's going to rain. we'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule. Usually in spring and summer it is pretty easy to reschedule because the rain doesn't often last all day and we can sneak our session into another time on the same date. In the fall, we will likely choose another date in order to get best weather.
Because of how inaccurate the forecast can be, I usually don't like to finalize a reschedule until the day of. The WORST is when we reschedule our session and then THE SUN COMES OUT!
The sooner the better! Weekends are often booked with weddings, making my availability limited, so the sooner you reach out, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
To reserve your date, we'll need a contract as well as a deposit. And if something comes up and you need to change your date, you can always just let us know!
If picking out outfits for photos takes you back to your high school days when you literally tried on everything in your closet and piled it on your bed but still felt like you had nothing to wear, you're in luck.

Preparing for your family session
If I had a nickel for every time....
Ok but, for real, unless you've modelled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera, EVERYONE DOES. That's why I work really really really hard to make it feel less awkward! We will spend so much time chatting, enjoying each other's company, walking and moving around that I promise you won't even remember to be awkward!
And don't worry about your kids. As a mom of 3 under 10, I am well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones.
Within a few weeks of your session, you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images. The gallery is set up to allow you to download the correct amount of images included in your collection and shows you where they've saved on your device.
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes even easier than it was to order those adorable matching photo outfits at Old Navy. All of the technical details are taken care of, so all you have to do is "add to cart".
