Wowza! WHAT A DAY!! Lynae and Ben chose their wedding date to honour Lynae’s grandparents on their 56th wedding anniversary. In case you were living under a rock for the pas two weeks; Lynae and Ben got married the day they closed EVERY SINGLE ROAD IN THE COUNTY!!

Planning your newborn session can sometimes feel a little overwhelming! But it doesn’t have to be! Here are some quick planning tips to make getting ready for your session a little easier!

Full disclosure- this post is pretty biased towards having a first look!  In no way do I want to convince anyone that they should do a first look if you feel really connected to the tradition of not seeing each other before the wedding.  A wedding day timeline without a first look is totally manageable and couples who choose not to do a first look still receive incredible, beautiful massive galleries from us.  But since many couples don’t know what a first look is or what the benefits could be, this post will go into those details.  

It comes as no surprise that trends in 2021 certainly took a significant turn! With the constantly changing restrictions and plans weddings were always looking different.  I know there are many trends of 2021 that many of us in the industry would like to see stay firmly in 2021(Goodbye 10 person limits and last minute cancellations!) 

Michael and Katherine are just the sweetest couple. They are so lovely and goofy together. When talking to them both it was so obvious how much fun they had planning the tiny details of their wedding to fit their unique and a little off centre personalities! They loved adding in little macabre touches to their day and made sure every aspect reflected them!

I have to admit though, the best part of their engagement session was getting to play with their adorable new puppy; Bear! He is the cutest thing in the entire world! I had so much fun getting to know all three of them and I can’t wait for their wedding next year!
