Maddison and Dmitry couldn’t have chosen a more picturesque location for their engagement shoot! A family lake house surrounded by willow trees just outside of Grand Bend was the perfect setting for this lakeside engagement session.
They met through friends, and after connecting on social media they decided to meet up. The rest is history, and now they’re getting married in almost exactly a year at Moorhouse Estates, which is also close to Grand Bend, with four of their closest friends on either side of them! Maddison and Dmitry call Strathroy home and the two have a 7-month-old son Felix and a dog named Nala!
When they aren’t meeting up with friends or chasing after Felix and Nala, this lovely couple is most at home outside. They love boating, the beach, bonfires and everything to do with the outdoors! Fun fact: Dmitry proposed to Maddison on a boat! I was so happy that Felix could join us for the evening. It was the perfect addition to the session!!
There is just something so special about seeing a couple in their element at their favourite place, with their son getting ready to celebrate their marriage!
The beautiful bride-to-be had one request for her engagement shoot: photos on the beach during golden hour! I delivered and managed to get some adorable shots of Felix as well.
I hope you enjoy the scroll!
I’m so grateful to have been able to capture these lakeside images for this wonderful couple, and I am so excited for their wedding day next August!
