This feels a little bit like Deja Vu, but I arrived at Kayti and Ryan’s venue and it was pouring!! I met Kayti at her bridal suite, to find her, hair done in her sweet pyjama outfit; totally relaxed and enjoying some time with her bridesmaids. She was so relaxed and ready to enjoy her big day. Like most brides this month she was just so happy that her wedding day was going to look almost like a regular wedding day.
I chatted with them for a few minutes and go to work on her bridal details, as I was working the storm passed and the skies began to clear; the last minute decision was made to have the wedding outside after all and it was perfect. The sky stayed clear for the ceremony, cocktail hour and portrait time, only for cloud to roll in and the wind and rain to start up again around dinner time. It couldn’t have been more perfect for us!
Kayti and Ryan met in high school and have been together for close to a decade. This wedding has been a long time coming and their families couldn’t have been happier seeing them tie the knot. It was so special to see how both Kayti and Ryan’s parents felt that each was already such an integral part of the family. I was so excited when Kayti asked me to recreate several poses for them from their prom photos. I hope you love scrolling through this day as much as I enjoyed capturing it!
