I wont lie, I was a little nervous as we started preparations for their day, it was a very windy day on Saturday, and as I have mentioned before- wind is one of the hardest things to deal with on a wedding day! Photographing ladies with gorgeous updos while the wind tries to take off with the veil is never easy! But despite the wind, we managed to get some incredible photographs of Phil and Makenzy’s Arthur farm wedding and I couldn’t be happier. It certainly helps that these two are absolutely adorable! They are such a playful couple and they just made the photography portions of the day easy and fun!
Phil and Makenzy tied the knot at Phil’s parent’s farm just outside of Arthur. Everyone knows how much I love a farm wedding, and this was no exception. Their ceremony took place in the front yard and then everyone retired to a beautiful tent for the drinks, dinner and dancing. Both Phil and Makenzy have a heart for the agriculture industry in Ontario so this farm wedding just made perfect sense.
My favourite part of the whole day though, was Phil and Makenzy’s sweet pupper, Bear as the ring bearer. (See what I did there?) I love when couples incorporate special things they love into their day. I also love great big puppies. So it was win-win for me! Bear is an 11 month old Bernese mountain dog and all things considered he did great… Even if he did get a bit distracted on the way down the aisle!
It was such a pleasure to be a part of Phil and Makenzy’s Arthur farm wedding! I hope you love the scroll!
