This engagement session might be the one I was most excited about this spring! Phil and Maris got engaged last summer and their wedding is planned for September on Maris’s gorgeous family property. But that is not why I was so excited. Phil and I have been friends since we were 11 years old! He is one of my oldest friends and from the very first time I met Maris, I wanted her to be the ONE!

Phil is one of the most over the top, hilarious people you will ever meet, he can make an entire room laugh till it hurts. He is also a farmer, a volunteer firefighter and an incredible friend to everyone he knows. He is one of those people you would describe as having a BIG personality! Sometimes, this can make finding a partner who can keep up a little harder!

As soon as I met Maris, I knew he’d met his match, most of the time I am not sure who is keeping up with who! Maris is usually the one laughing the hardest with him, but still managed to keep him inline to build a beautiful shouse home together last year(While she finished her masters I might add!). They both love to work out together, spend time with their 2 dogs and continue making their shouse a home. Maris is a public health nurse who has so much passion for her work, her family and their 2 hilarious dogs. These two truly bring out the best in each other! They really are two of my favourite people in the entire world and I cannot wait to see them tie the knot this fall.
