Hey There; Im Aiden! Welcome to Aiden Laurette Photography. I am so glad you are here and getting to know me a little. I am a mama of 3 beautiful kiddos, a wife to my high school sweetheart, a photographer and a business owner!

I have created and cultivated this business with the goal of honouring and elevating women in the most special seasons of their lives- as they get married and begin building their families. I believe that a well planned, luxurious photography experience has the power to make someone feel incredible. As a mama myself- I know how much importance my own wedding and family photos in my home mean to me and I know how proud they make me.

A Little About Me;

I am in my early 30’s.  I married my high school sweetheart when I was 20 and we have been together for more than half my life at this point.  My husband, Chris is a total goofball and one of the hardest working people I have ever met.  He is always going a million miles a minute and although I am usually out of breath keeping up, I love him for it! He is an entrepreneur with a brilliant mind for business and systems and is hands down the biggest reason I have been table to take my little creative hobby and turn it into my full time career.
We live in North Huron on a country property; in the house my husband grew up in. It is a classic country stone house built in 1851 and we love spending time making it our own while keeping it’s historic charm glowing.

We have 3 beautiful, spunky kids Emmerson is 10, Reese is 7 and Theodore is 5.  They are wild and hilarious and love each other fiercely.  I pray daily that they remain best friends forever.  Our children are the reason I began taking photographs. I swear they kept changing right before my eyes and I couldn’t keep up. I wanted to capture every single moment. Then when I started photographing as a business I loved that I could create a schedule that allowed to me to enjoy time with our kids and continue to watch them grow.

Photography began as a hobby for me as I learned to photograph my children and other family members for fun. I never imagined I would become a full-time business owner and Photographer at the time! This was at a time that I thought being a stay-at-home-mom was going to be my path.

In 2017 a friend of mine was stepping away from newborn photography and selling off most of her studio, but before doing so she decided to hold a few workshops for local photographers. I took the workshop and was instantly obsessed! I immediately started building out my own newborn studio business. 

I launched my newborn photography business in 2017 with a camera, a couple of newborn wraps and headbands and a whicker basket! I worked part time out of a tiny studio in our home and reinvested almost every penny I made back into the studio for more props, equipment and education.

In 2019 I finally felt ready to leave my own babies long enough to start offering couples unforgettable wedding photography experiences! I love working with couples and joining them on their special day! It is an honour to be trusted to capture the memories of your most exciting day! Fast forward to 2021 and I have built my business and my studio from nothing and doubled my business year over year since I launched.

I believe whole heartedly that the experiences I can help to provide couples and mamas in these special seasons of life are full of purpose; I have been given the opportunity to leave lasting impressions on those I interact with. I have been blessed to be able to do what I love as a career and have been able to interact with

AMAZING people in the process.

When I am not photographing, momming or walking our farmland with our amazing doodle- Abby, I sleep, eat, shower and repeat…  Ok but seriously that is what I spend most of my time doing, but I also love a good book (The Outlander book series is a number 1 fave!), I love practising yoga, and spending hours researching our next adventure.
