A Fall Engagement Session in Goderich
There’s something magical about fall in Goderich! The crisp air, golden leaves, and stunning sunsets make it the perfect backdrop for capturing love. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Rachel and Dan’s engagement session, and it was nothing short of enchanting. This sweet couple is set to tie the knot on September 20, 2025. Their session perfectly reflected the warmth of their connection against the autumnal beauty of Goderich.
From the start, Rachel and Dan’s easy-going nature made the session flow effortlessly. The golden hour light poured in as we ventured to some of Goderich’s most scenic spots, including the famous Menesetung Bridge and Maitland River shoreline. The colours of fall provided a stunning background for Rachel and Dan!
Rachel and Dan were a joy to work with! They were always laughing and sharing sweet moments that made for candid and heartwarming photos. Whether holding hands as they walked along a leaf-strewn path or stealing a kiss with the river in the background, their love was evident. We even had a little fun, as they brought along some props, their pups! An adorable touch that added personality to their session(seriously, they were so freaking cute!)
The town of Goderich holds special significance for Rachel and Dan, and incorporating these meaningful locations added a personal layer to their photos. Rachel shared that one of her favorite spots is the stunning Lake Huron shoreline, where they often walk their dog and spend time enjoying nature together. Dan even proposed right on the Menesetung Bridge where we spent a large part of our session. Capturing these moments in a town so dear to their hearts made the session all the more memorable.
Mother Nature put on a show as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a soft glow over the water. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day in 2025.
