There’s something timeless and romantic about a farm engagement session, and Victoria and Matt’s farm engagement session near Goderich is no exception. Victoria and Matt’s story began in a fittingly wholesome way – as dance partners at a Junior Farmers’ dance lesson. Their shared passion for community involvement brought them together. A few months later, they reconnected at another dance hosted by the Junior Farmers. From that moment, their relationship blossomed into something truly special.

Busy Bees and A Formidable Team

As a couple, Victoria and Matt are constantly balancing their busy lives. Matt, a carpenter by trade, also farms alongside his father. His dedication to farming and helping others with construction projects keeps him on the go. Victoria, who works in the nutrition department of a feed mill, spends her free time caring for her horse and tending to their garden. Despite their packed schedules, they always find ways to be part of each other’s world. Whether it’s Victoria joining Matt in the tractor or Matt spending time at the horse farm, they cherish these moments together.

Their engagement story is as sweet and down-to-earth as the couple themselves. Last December, just between Christmas and New Year’s, Matt arrived at the farm where Victoria’s horse is boarded. He came prepared with flowers and a ring! His original plan had been to propose while Victoria was riding, but a few overly excited dogs spoiled the surprise. Instead, the proposal took place in the barn, a fitting location for this farm-loving couple.
