Lauren and Sean’s wedding this past Saturday at Riverstone Retreat was the perfect combination of beautiful, unique details and a fun loving, belly laughing wedding party!

Lauren worked so hard to create such a beautifully, curated wedding at Riverstone Retreat in Durham. It was so much fun capturing all of the awesome details she created! Check out her Bubbles and Buds cocktail hour setup! Seriously though, this wedding was absolutely stunning, and Lauren did most of the work curating and creating this amazing wedding. The incredible team at Ever After Emma helped it come to life on the big day!

The Riverstone Retreat venue is a gorgeous space, with plenty of different spots for the photos. The ceremony location was beautiful and the Stone house getting ready space made the whole day run so smoothly! I loved the open air reception space!

When I got to know Lauren and Sean before their wedding, they told me how much they enjoy camping and hanging outside with friends and family. The Riverstone Retreat really was the perfect venue for their wedding day. It totally reflected the things they care about, I loved seeing them so at home at Riverstone.

During the speeches I got to hear about how Lauren and Sean met! One of Lauren’s friends liked one of Seans friends, so they both got dragged out together… and we all know how those stories go- but the sweetest part is that those friends are also married now!! What a way to make sure you have a best friend couple set up for life!

Although Lauren was gorgeous in her gown, and Sean and his guys were hilarious, the real star of the show on Saturday at Riverstone was Maisy! Maisy is Sean and Lauren’s 18 month old daughter and oh my word, she was the sweetest little thing! In the past year I have photographed a lot of couples with young kids and it really is one my favourite things! I love including adorable littles ones in their parents wedding days!

Congratulations Lauren and Sean! I loved being a part of your wedding day and meeting your friends and family. Thank you so much for having me there to capture one of the best days ever!!
