It was a beautiful day for a classic golf course wedding at Flamborough Hills wedding venue, but it started out just a tiny bit strange! If you recall, on Saturday a major storm swept through most of Ontario. (Im sure many of you do- you’re probably still cleaning up after it!) Well, Sunday (The next day) was Nicole and Ryan’s flamborough hills Wedding; we arrived at the address Nicole provided for where she was getting ready and there was one vehicle in the lane and a generator humming away… Ok, well lets ring the bell.
So now we were seriously confused! After a quick call, we established that there was no power at the house we were at – hence the generator. So the bride and her entourage had done hair and makeup elsewhere. They quickly arrived at the house and we were able to start with getting ready process of the day! Thank goodness for lots of natural light.
Now one would think, that a huge storm, a lack of hydro a change in location and baby ducks, might make a bride a little anxious… But Nicole was calm, relaxed and totally enjoying her day. She was the walking definition of chill!
That’s the biggest thing I noticed about Nicole and Ryan, they are kindest most relaxed easy going couple. They don’t sweat any of the small stuff and they really took in their day at Flamborough Hills and really enjoyed their wedding!
Nicole spent much of the morning helping her niece and nephew and her bridesmaids get ready. From helping with a bow tie to making sure her everyone had enough champagne, she continuously showed care and attention to her entourage. After the ceremony I watched as Ryan made sure to check in with every single guest to say hello and make sure they were enjoying the festivities.
It was so obvious to me the love these 2 have for each other and for their families and friends. They both have such serving hearts and it was an absolute pleasure to see that in action on Sunday.
I hope you enjoy the scroll! Oh and the ducks were the charge of little Miss Lauren- the sweet little flower girl. She runs a pet sitting business and it’s definitely a 5 star situation!
