Kayla and Aiden tied the knot at The London Club in downtown London this past Saturday. It was a beautiful intimate ceremony with only their closest family and friends joining them. It was the perfect start of the spring wedding season! The weather on Saturday was perfect and we were able to catch some gorgeous sunshine after their ceremony for portraits. Kayla and Aiden had a vision for their wedding, of relaxation and celebration with Kayla’s 2 children, their parents and a few close friends. They didn’t want too many extras or too much fanfare. They just wanted to share the moment with those they loved most. Their wedding day was exactly what they envision and it was a beautiful ceremony and reception. They even had everyone sit at one big family table! It was so lovely!

Kayla and her wonderful daughter Peyton, who stood as the maid of honour enjoyed a relaxing afternoon getting ready together, while Aiden and Kayla’s son Nate got to hang out and get their suits on. Kayla had a special moment with her dad once she had her dress on and then it was time for the ceremony. Their ceremony included many special nods to their new family unit as well as those special people who were no longer with them. Aiden’s mother prepared a particularly beautiful piece to share and Kayla’s children were key participants. It really was such a pleasure to watch these two join their lives together with so much love and joy surrounding them.

My favourite part of the afternoon though, was when Kayla, Aiden and I headed outside for their portraits- the entire family wanted to join! Why keep the party inside when they could all join in the romance of portraits outside! It really was so special!
